Can you save a parking spot?
The Philadelphia Police Department has reminded residents that the "No Savesies" rule is in effect during a snowfall -- and any other time.
The Police Department advises citizens not to fight over spots and instead call them.

If someone is saving a parking space with a chair, cone etc., dial 911, or click here and a police officer(s) will come out to handle the situation. Please share the street. #NoSavesies
During A Snowfall:
City residents have a history of saving parking spaces with cones or folding chairs after digging them out, but police maintain that the practice will not be tolerated.
During inclement weather, people may feel inclined to save a parking spot in front of their property or a neighboring street.
This is strictly prohibited.
No one is authorized to save parking spots.
