How can I get a copy of a marriage license?
To request Marriage Records, go to https://secureprod.phila.gov/row/marriagerequest.aspx, or make a request by mail with the attached pdf. Go to https://secureprod.phila.gov/row/ for more info.

To reach Marriage Records, please dial (215) 686-2204/34, M-F 8 am to 4:30 pm, or email rowonline@phila.gov. They are at City Hall Room 415, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

What to Expect and When:
A copy of a Marriage License is $25. An exemplified copy for international purposes is $50. An additional $15 service charge is required for mailing. (Delivery time is 3 - 4 weeks.).

You Should Know:
You will need to provide:
  1. the groom's name,
  2. the bride's name at the time of application, and
  3. the year of the application.
Payment is accepted in the following forms:
  • VISA or MasterCard (Debit or Credit)
  • Business Checks
  • Certified Bank Checks
  • Money Order
