How can I report a clogged drain, main drain or flooded basement?
Complete a Maintenance Complaint Service Request of type Broken Main Drain/Raw Sewage Within Property and the Department of Licenses and Inspections (L+I) will inspect for drainage code violations around a residential or commercial building.

What to Expect and When:
  • An inspection will occur within 20 business days
  • Violations will be issued if appropriate
  • The owner has 35 calendar days to correct the problem(s) before re-inspection
  • Up to 3 re-inspections may be conducted to ensure violations were complied with or resolved. If not complied at the last inspection, the property may be referred to court.
