Adoption hours are Monday-Friday, 1 pm - 8 pm and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 am - 5 pm at the main shelter located at 111 W Hunting Park Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
To adopt from ACCT Philly, an adoption application must be completed. Adopter must have valid photo identification with current address. If your ID does not list your current address, you must bring proof of residency in the form of mail or other identification. All household members are encouraged to be a part of the adoption process, and it may be required for certain animals that all family members be present. Any resident dog must meet potential adopted dogs in order to finalize the adoption.
