What to Expect and When:
- An inspector will go out to inspect the property within 20 business days.
- Violations will be issued if appropriate
- The owner has 35 calendar days to correct the problem(s) before re-inspection
- Up to 3 re-inspections may be conducted to ensure the property is in compliance. If violations remain at the final inspection, the property will be referred to court

The Following Requirements for Short-Term Rentals are in Effect
- Only property owners or their agents may apply for this license, not a renter or for a property you don't own.
- If you rent your primary residence less than 30 days, you must possess a zoning permit for limited lodging use and also a limited lodging license.
- If you rent a property that is not your primary residence for less than 30 days, you need a zoning permit for visitor accommodations and also a rental license with a ‘hotel’ designation.
