Registration for free yard trees when they are available at TreePhilly.org.  For city-wide event dates and registration, check the website. 850 trees are available and pre-registration is required (there will be no trees available for walk-ins). Trees must be planted in the ground on private property in the city of Philadelphia. Delivery is reserved for residents in high-risk populations and those unable to pick up a tree in their car. 

You Should Know:
Pickups will take place at scheduled times in strictly limited numbers, staff will practice social distancing, and residents will load trees into their own cars. 
To receive a tree, you MUST pre-register for an event. Trees will NOT be available to walk-ins.

At tree giveaway events every year, citizens may choose from 11 different tree species, including several fruit trees. 
Get
up to two trees per property and up to 10 trees for community spaces.
Get free planting demonstrations from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and bring home free mulch with your trees.
