What are the rules governing Outdoor Dining?

You Should Know:
- Streets handles Newsstands and Outdoor/Sidewalk Cafes. Newsstands and Outdoor Cafes (Sidewalk Cafes) are on the sidewalk.
- L+I handles Steeteries. Streeteries are in the Street (Parking Lane).
Outdoor Dining is permanent in the city of Philadelphia since January 2023. The licenses are obtained through eCLIPSE.
The license is $1,750, renewable annually. A non-refundable application fee of $200 is applied toward the license fee. The balance of the license fee is due once your application is approved.
