Answer
The Philadelphia Water Department is ending a boil water advisory for parts of upper West Philadelphia.
Customers can resume normal water use without boiling, effective immediately.
The advisory is being lifted after sampling from drinking water taps in the affected areas on Sunday and Monday found no evidence of harmful bacteria and all samples showed normal water quality.
The sampling plan and end of the boil water notice have been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

If you are a customer and can’t get through, contact the @PhillyH2O or @PhilaRevenue social media accounts, or email waterinfo@phila.gov. Web and social media staff will respond as soon as possible but are not a substitute for emergency calls.
